Thank you for considering a donation to the SE Seattle Tool Library!

As a 501(c)3 non-profit (EIN 46-5378620), all donations to the SE Seattle Tool Library are tax deductible. Please contact us if you have questions regarding a donation: Email info@setools.org or call 202.780.7296.

Donate Funds

The SE Seattle Tool Library depends on your support. We rely solely on your donations to continue and develop our operations. Please consider donating online via Paypal, or in person via cash, credit card, or check (made out to Southeast Seattle Tool Library), during our open hours! All else being equal, we prefer checks or cash in person at the library, so that a buck of your donation doesn’t get swallowed by processing fees!

Donate Tools

We are happy to receive almost any tool donation! The main requirements are that all donated tools (1)must be in good working order, and (2) must NOT be gas powered (hand powered or electric powered tools only, please!) See the tool library’s formal gift acceptance policy.

To donate a tool, please e mail info@setools.org or bring your donations in to the library during open hours.

When you drop off common tools that the library has sufficient numbers of, like hammers, screwdrivers, tape measures, scissors, paint brushes, pliers, levels, or nails, we’ll include your donated items in basic toolkits for use by Sharehouse clients as they transition from homelessness and establish themselves in their new homes.
